జె. ఎన్. టి. యు. స్వయం ప్రతిపత్తి కళాశాలల సమావేశంలో క్విస్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాల

ప్రొఫెసర్ వి.ఎస్.ఎస్. కుమార్ జవహర్ లాల్ నెహ్రూ సాంకేతిక విశ్వ విద్యాలయం (కాకినాడ) కు నూతన ఉప-కులపతిగా బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించిన సందర్భంగా జె. ఎన్. టి. యు. కె. కు అనుబంధం గా ఉన్న అటానమస్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాలలు, యు. జి. సి. నుండి త్వరలో స్వయం ప్రతిపత్తి హోదా సాధించానున్న ఇతర ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాలలకు 'చాయిస్ బేస్డ్ క్రెడిట్స్' విధానం పై యు. జి. సి. ఇటీవల జారీ చేసిన నూతన మార్గదర్శక సూత్రాలపై అవగాహన ఏర్పరిచే నిమిత్తం నిర్వహించిన సమావేశంలో క్విస్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాల పాల్గొన్నట్లు కళాశాల ప్రధానాచార్యులు తెలిపారు. ప్రకాశం జిల్లా నుండి ఈ సమావేశానికి ఆహ్వానం పొందిన ఏకైక కళాశాల క్విస్ కావడం గర్వకారణమని క్విస్ విద్యాసంస్థల అధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ ఎన్. నాగేశ్వర రావు, కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ ఎన్. ఎస్. కల్యాణ్ చక్రవర్తి పేర్కొన్నారు. విశ్వ విద్యాలయ రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. ప్రసాద్ రాజు, రెక్టర్ డా. ప్రభాకర రావు, డి. ఇ. డా. సాయి బాబు, డి. ఎ. పి. డా. ఉదయ భాస్కర్ లు ఈ సమావేశంలో 12 అనుబంధ కళాశాలలకు వినూత్న పాఠ్య ప్రణాళికల రూపకల్పన, మెరుగైన మూల్యాంకన విధానం, మార్కులకు బదులుగా 10-పాయింట్ల గ్రేడింగ్ విధానాన్ని ప్రవేశ పెట్టడం మొదలైన అంశాలపై దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు. క్విస్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాల ప్రతినిధులుగా డా. కె. వీరాస్వామి, డా. ఎమ్. ఎల్. మల్లికార్జున ఈ సమావేశానికి హాజరయ్యారు.         

QIS Engineering Colleges Gets Invitation to JNTU-K Autonomous Colleges Meet

In the wake of Prof. V.S.S. Kumar having assumed office as the new vice-chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - Kakinada, a meeting has been called for the autonomous engineering colleges and for those that are presently to be granted autonomous status by the UGC and QIS College of Engineering was the only one from Prakasham district to attend this meet, informed Dr. K. Veera Swamy and Dr. M.L. Mallikarjuna who were the delegates at the meeting on behalf of QIS College of Engineering. The purpose of the meeting was to enlighten the colleges with regard to the new guidelines on choice-based credit system issued by the University Grants Commission, said Mr. N. Nageswara Rao, president of QIS Educational Institutions, and Mr. N.S. Kalyan Chakravarthy, Secretary and Correspondent of the Group . In a meeting that discussed the evolution of an innovative curriculum and an evaluation pattern wherein marks would be replaced eventually by a 10-point grading system, the main speakers were Dr. Prasad Raju, registrar of the university, Dr. Prabhakara Rao, rector, Dr. Sai Babu, DA, and Dr. Udaya Bhaskar, DAP, apart from Dr. V.S.S. Kumar, VC of the university.

క్విస్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాల లో బాబూజీ జయంతి వేడుకలు

ప్రముఖ దళిత నాయకులు స్వర్గీయ బాబూ జగజ్జీవన్ రామ్ 107 వ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని క్విస్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కళాశాలల విద్యార్థినులు రామానుజన్ ఆడిటోరియం లో ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం స్మారక సభ నిర్వహించారని కళాశాలల ప్రధానాచార్యులు డా. కె. వీరా స్వామి, డా. జి. లక్ష్మీనారాయణ రావు తెలిపారు. గణిత విభాగానికి చెందిన ప్రొఫెసర్ బి. ప్రియ, శ్రీమతి ప్రశాంతి, జవహర్ నాలిజ్ సెంటర్ (జె.కె.సి.) ప్రతినిధి శ్రీమతి అనూష ముఖ్య వక్తలుగా పాల్గొన్న ఈ సభలో మూడవ సంవత్సరం బి.టెక్. విద్యార్థినులు అలేఖ్య, లిఖిత సమన్వయకర్తలుగా వ్యవహరించారు. వక్తలు తమ ప్రసంగాలలో, సామాజిక న్యాయం కోసం అలుపెరుగని పోరాటం సలిపిన మహోన్నత వ్యక్తి బాబూజీ అని కొనియాడారు. విద్యార్థినులు శ్రీ అనూష, మౌనిక, మాధురి, రాజి బాబూ జగజ్జీవన్ రామ్ జీవితం లోని వివిధ దశలను స్మరించుకుంటూ ఆయన బాల్యం, విద్య, స్వాతంత్ర్య పోరాటంలో ఆయన పాత్ర, బాబూజీ రాజకీయ ప్రస్థానం మొదలైన అంశాలను గూర్చి స్థూలంగా వివరించారు. శ్రీ నిడమానూరి ఎడ్యుకేషనల్ సొసైటీ అధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ ఎన్. నాగేశ్వర రావు, క్విస్ విద్యా సంస్థల అధిపతి శ్రీ ఎన్.ఎస్. కళ్యాణ చక్రవర్తి బాబూజీ స్మృతి కి నివాళులర్పిస్తూ సందేశాలు పంపారు.

I am delighted to share with you

that we have now

further enriched our teaching team

with professionals

picked from different parts of the country

with abundant experience

and exposure.

I am even more delighted to share with you

that the academic administration of Green Filed,

henceforth,

is going to be taken care of by a world class expert in education

and a former lieutenant colonel.

A proposal to introduce

IB and Cambridge curriculum at Green Field

is also in the pipeline.

I am sure

these changes will add great value

to our continued effort

to make Green Field

one of the best schools in the country

and will go a long way

in making it really

in the true sense of the phrase.
